Description:
An Air Starter Control Valve is used to control the flow of compressed air to an air starter motor. It is typically located near the air starter motor and is connected to a source of compressed air. When the valve is opened, compressed air is allowed to flow to the air starter motor, causing it to rotate and start the engine and when the engine has started, the valve is closed to stop the flow of air.
Attributes:
• Withstand high pressures and temperatures.
• Provide efficient operation by delivering the right amount of air to the air starter motor.
Applications:
An Air Starter Control Valve is used to provide a precise and controlled flow of compressed air to the air starter motor, widely used in Cat Engine (Piston), Generator Set, Track Loader, Power Systems, Engine-General Platform (C18), OEM Applications, Articulated Truck, Locomotive, and Powertrain (Powermodules, Trans, Tc).
